Following is the message from The Khudi Team delivered to all PYA Members/Supporters/Aspiring and Pro-Writers/Artists.
Pakistan Youth Alliance fully endorses the Khudi Movement and urges its members to write for change!
Warm regards from the Khudi team! We are pleased to reach the PYA members, having seen your work for 3 years now, we stand in appreciation to the change you have managed to live.
Khudi is currently working on publishing an exciting new student magazine. We need as many of our friends as possible to write articles to feature in our very first edition.
A few facts about our magazine:
- It will be distributed free of charge across 25 university campuses in Pakistan. We aim to have a print run of 10,000 copies per edition and hope to produce 2 new editions per academic term.
- It will provide a platform for students to discuss what they wish, frankly and personally. In addition, given that it will feature articles by students from an array of universities, it will also serve as a tool to enhance communication across all four provinces.
- An online version of the magazine will also be put up on our website once it goes live in March 2010 (www.khudi.com.pk)
This is a great opportunity for all of you to showcase your creative writing talents to the student community across all of Pakistan. Please pick a topic of interest, write your article, and send it to us! However, please do keep the following things in mind:

- Due to the large number of contributions we anticipate receiving, we may have to edit work so that we can fit as many people’s writings in the magazine as possible; however, we will certainly inform you of this.

- And most importantly, PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ARTICLES ARE WRITTEN FROM A PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE. We are not looking for academic style essays as we want readers to be able to hear about the personal experiences/opinions the students from different parts of Pakistan have on the issues that face our country today.
