Six decades, and more, we have lived
Together through ceaseless, chaotic,
Surrounding winds from every border
Of the frame we occupy; we lived.
We live, while an army of young, devoted,
Loved souls over those battered barbed wires
Spill their life to protect, to war and defeat,
To rise, resist and repeat all while we live.
We stand, we speak from chaos
To chaos- we stand in anarchy and command
Peace. We see the spreading of a supressing
Smoke annihilating the life it beholds- and we stand.
They talk, we see, they try, we feel
The anarchy they wished to prevent,
We feel. In the midst of what remains, we stand
And feel, we live and we pray, for our land.
