How painful it is to lose a loved one,
You cannot know unless you have lost one.
Nothing can quite describe the aftermath;
The whole world seems to be devoid of fun.
I felt the loss, and felt it deep,
All alone, in the night I weep.
You would fare no better than me,
When you realize that never shall your country awake from her sleep.
The incredible agony and pain!
I would have it given away with fain!
But unfortunate me, savage is the world,
Full of people engrossed only in their gain.
My country is now full of people heartless,
Who care for others not and are want less.
I have made a decision: become like them I will,
Full of cruelty and wickedness as my harness.
The meaning of life, know the brave,
Who always believe they have a world to save.
I only wish I had repented and expressed remorse,
Then I too would have a rose on my grave.
I leave this world with one will,
Listen, you mountains and silent hills!
Everything shall perish one day,
So forgive and forget, and thou shalt not kill.
