Proud to be a Pakistani – Pakeezah Saadat

by admin on November 18, 2009

When I think of myself, I think of a Pakistani
When I think of my nation, I think of a united nation
When they think of me, they think of a criminal
I tell them I’m not but a typical Pakistani

When I think of myself, I think of a proud Pakistani
When I think of my nation, I think of a proud nation
When they think of me, they think of an extremist
I tell them I’m not but a proud Pakistani

When I think of myself, I think of a patriotic Pakistani
When I think of my nation, I think of a patriotic nation
When they think of me, they think of a fundamentalist
I tell them I’m not but a patriotic Pakistani

When I think of myself, I think of a courageous Pakistani
When I think of my nation, I think of a courageous nation
When they think of me, they think of a terrorist
I tell them I’m not but a courageous Pakistani

When I think of my self, I think of a muslim Pakistani
When I think my nation, I think of a muslim nation
When they think of me, they think of a Jihadi
I tell them I’m what I’m & I’m proud of it!
